Dear Member,

You are invited our annual to  AGM on Sunday February 1st at 9:15am (straight after the simulation).  This is an open meeting and everyone is welcome.  Only club members over 18 can vote and be on the committee.

Last year we put on more skating activities than we have before, adding Mini Camps to the Simulations and Annual Competition. We also held, for the first time, some social activities such as the Treasure Hunt and Murder Mystery Evening.

To help us build on this, we welcome new committee members and even better if you are prepared to take on a role. More people mean more ideas and more people to help run the club. The more people we have, the more we can do.

You could join the committee and be an extra pair of hands, or there are several roles with are integral to the running of the club. We welcome members from all areas of the skating experience – skaters (over 18s only), adult skaters, parents, coaches or anyone who has an interest in skating and wants to help improve skaters experience.

Come to the AGM to find out more about what we do and if you can plesae join our committee.  If you are able to do more, the read about the different roles involved in running the club and see if you can help.  There is more informaiton about each role and what is involved in the pdf below. 

If a role appeals, please email us.  You will need to send us your name, the role, someone who will propose you and someone who will second you.  Email this information with the subject “AGM Roles” to : whitleybayisc@gmail.com

Alternatively, if there is someone you feel would be perfect for a role, send us an email proposing them.  Again, make the subject “AGM Roles” and email it to whitelybayisc@gmail.com  – Please make sure you speak to them first to make sure they would be happy with being given a role 🙂

Please note, all committee members will need to undertake a DBS check.
