A massive well done to our club member Tim Xie

its been a big week for our Club Member Tim Xie. Not only has he received amazing GCSE results (11 Grade 9s) he has also competed in the International Competition, The Robin Cousins Cup, achieving the Bronze Medal.

Tim is often found practicing before school and has proved that this does not need to affect your school work. His hard work and dedication are paying off.

Looking to the future, Tim is currently aiming to compete on the Junior Grand Prix Circuit with dreams of one day reaching the World Figure Skating Championships. I love watching Tim as he has strong elements, beautiful lines and great character while skating his programs.

Congratulations on both your GCSE results and your Bronze Medal. I can’t wait to see what you achieve in the future.

Tim is shown here with his coach Karen Brannen who bought him the balloon to represent the 11 Grade 9s that he achieved in his GCSEs.
