Deadline is Looming for May Mini Camp

The deadline for entering the May Mini camp is less than a week away. Entries are due to close on Wednesday 21st May. Don’t leave it too late as there are not many spaces left.

The camp will run from 9am until 11am, as with the last Mini Camp, each skater will be allocated ONE of the two days. This will be based on your Level and the number of applicants. It is likely that Level 4 / Gold and above will be on Tuesday with Level 3 and below / Pre-Bronze, Bronze and Silver on Wednesday. Note that this is a guideline only and may change.

The camp will start with one hour on the ice working on edges. Some equipment may be used, such as resistance bands. There might also be some edge work to music. A great way to improve edges and style in a fun environment. This will be followed by one hour of off ice training. We had particularly positive feedback about the off ice work after the last camp with skaters saying it was fun and useful.

PLEASE NOTE – This camp is for skaters who have completed their BIS Passport and are working towards their British Ice Skating Levels. it is NOT for skaters currently working on their Freestyle Levels.

ADULT skaters – please be guided by your coach. Also, if you take part in Simulations or Compete you are elidigble for this camp.

The closing date is Wednesday 21st May at 4pm. Entries after this date will not be accepted. Also, if demand is high we reserve the right to close early.

This camp is for Whitley Bay Ice Skating Club members only. You can join while entering for the Mini Camp as there is a link on the form. If you have any questions please email Mandy at wbisc@post.com
